In Monday's league challenge, the host Oak Ridge Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Granite Bay Grizzlies.

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Whitney beat Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies meet the St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 16. Granite Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Troubadours enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA).
