The Spartans now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maine South for a test on Wednesday, September 11. Glenbrook North will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 28-14 non-league win over Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Deerfield drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Evanston (Evanston, IL) to meet the Wildkits in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. The Wildkits come into the test with a record of 1-2. Evanston won 20-8 in their recent league test against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL)
