Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Somerset moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Briar Jumpers travel to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to meet the Maroons in a District 47 test on Tuesday, September 10. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 5-3. Pulaski County won 3-0 in their recent league test against Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY)

The Cardinals now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Casey County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12.
