The Amherst County Lancers topped the visiting Nelson County Governors volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lancers confront the Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 10. Amherst County will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA).

The Governors (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Buffalo Gap went down by Luray (Luray, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
