With the win, Auburn improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles host Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 3-1. Giles won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Grayson County (Independence, VA)

The Mustangs now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Craig County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Eastern Montgomery will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Rockets record now stands at 1-2.
