In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Carson Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.

The Cougars (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record.

Next, the Trojans play the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Ragin' Bulls come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).
