Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Forestview moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Big South 3A test on Monday, September 16. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 5-1. South Point won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burns for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Monday, September 16. Bessemer City will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Crest (Shelby, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
