In Monday's non-league outing, the host Normal University Pioneers soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints.

The Pioneers (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Rockets go into the Central State Eight outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Rochester got by Morton (Morton, IL), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Saints confront the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 10. Bloomington Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Cyclones go into the outing with a 7-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Williamsville (Williamsville, IL).
