The Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) softball routed the host Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), 12-3 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Leopards now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Social Circle for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 11. Banks County will encounter a Redskins team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 15-2.

With the loss, Oconee County moves to 3-13 on the season. The Warriors travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to encounter the Spartans in a 3A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 3-13. West Hall won 13-2 in their recent non-league outing against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA)
