The Darlington Tigers softball squad (Rome, GA), was routed 15-3 in Monday's league contest with the host Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA)

With the triumph, Pepperell improves its record to 3-12 on the year. The Dragons travel to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA) to face the Rebels in a 1A D-I Region 6 contest on Wednesday, September 11. The Rebels enter the contest with a record of 7-6. Haralson County lost 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Tift County (Tifton, GA)

The Tigers (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians go into the non-league challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Chattooga was routed by Armuchee (Rome, GA), 4-2, in a league challenge.
