Next, the Eagles meet the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. East Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA).

The Red Elephants (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets enter the 5A Region 7 challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Roswell edged Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 9-0, in a league challenge.
