The Severance Silver Knights softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Greeley Central Wildcats to 0 in the Silver Knights league win on Monday.

The Silver Knights now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timnath for a 4A/3A Longs Peak battle on Tuesday, September 10. Severance will confront a Cubs team coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Cubs record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Greeley Central moves to 2-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Northridge (Greeley, CO) to confront the Grizzlies in a 4A/3A Longs Peak battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a record of 4-2. Northridge won 12-2 in their recent league battle against Wellington (Wellington, CO)
