Polk County Slammers (Stromsburg, NE) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Highway 6 Trailblazers (Holdrege, NE), 13-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Polk County improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Slammers travel to Twin River (Genoa, NE) to face the Titans in a C District game on Tuesday, September 10.
