American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots (Clayton, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, American Leadership Academy-Johnston improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-11. Franklin Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league test against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)

The Gators now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Johnston for a Neuse Six 2A test on Tuesday, September 10. Spring Creek will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
