In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Ballard Memorial Bombers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Calloway County Lakers.

The Bombers (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Community Christian (Paducah, KY). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Lakers meet the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Calloway County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY).
