The Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Varsity Opponent (, ). The go into the non-league battle with a 57-209 record. In their last battle, Varsity Opponent was edged by Morning Star Academy (Bettendorf, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Patriots now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeastern Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Calvary Christian will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.
