Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Cranford improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Linden (Linden, NJ) to encounter the Tigers in a Union County - Mountain test on Thursday, September 12. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-1.

The Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Rahway (Rahway, NJ). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-1.
