In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fisher Bunnies.

The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Chiefs come into the Heart of Illinois challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Deer Creek-Mackinaw beat Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bunnies meet the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) in a Heart of Illinois challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Fisher will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL).
