In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Paramus Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fort Lee Bridgemen.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ). The Maroons come into the Big North - Freedom challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Ridgewood lost by NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bridgemen play the Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ) in a Freelance challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Fort Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Scarlets come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ).
