In Monday's league challenge, the host Grant Lancers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the North Hollywood Huskies.

The Lancers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Vikings enter the East Valley challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Monroe was beaten by Poly (Sun Valley, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Thursday, September 12. North Hollywood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA).
