In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Grundy County Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles.

The Yellowjackets (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Boyd Christian (McMinnville, TN). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Lincoln County Falcons (Fayetteville, TN) in a AAA District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Shelbyville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
