In Monday's non-league match, the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) volleyball squad tipped the host Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Lakers battle the Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 12. Minneapolis Southwest will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Eagan (Eagan, MN).
