The Houlka Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting West Lowndes Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Smithville for a Class 1A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, September 10. Houlka will play a Seminoles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Okolona (Okolona, MS). The Seminoles record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, West Lowndes drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Kemper County (DeKalb, MS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 5-6. Kemper County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS)
