Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Innovation Academy Sentinels (Springfield, TN), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Smith County advances its record to 9-6 on the season. The Owls travel to Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN) to face the Red Devils in a A District 8 test on Tuesday, September 10. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 1-4.

The Sentinels now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host East Robertson for a A District 8 contest on Wednesday, September 11. Innovation Academy will meet a Indians team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over White House (White House, TN). The Indians record now stands at 15-0.
