In Monday's league challenge, the host Riverview Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Jefferson Bears.

The Pirates (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels come into the Huron challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary Catholic Central beat Huron (New Boston, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) in a Huron challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI).
