Illinois High School Volleyball - Joppa-Maple Grove tips Meridian

The Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Meridian Bobcats to 1 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rangers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cobden for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. Joppa-Maple Grove will play a Appleknockers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Carrier Mills-Stonefort (Carrier Mills, IL). The Appleknockers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Meridian drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Century (Ullin, IL) to play the Centurions in a South Egyptian outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Centurions come into the outing with a record of 3-1. Century won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Pope County (Golconda, IL)
