In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Union City Soaring Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kearny Kardinals.
The Soaring Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Hudson Catholic was beaten by Millburn (Millburn, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Kardinals meet the Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Kearny will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bees come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Memorial (West New York, NJ).
