The Tigers now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a Class 2A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, September 10. Leflore County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Yazoo City drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10.
