Fans at Monday's league contest between the York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN) and the host Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN), observed York Institute's volleyball team top Monterey by a count of 3-0.

The Dragons (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Red Boiling Springs (Red Boiling Springs, TN). The Bulldogs enter the A District 7 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Red Boiling Springs was knocked off by Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Clarkrange Buffaloes (Clarkrange, TN) in a A District 7 contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Monterey will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN).
