Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Parkland improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC) to encounter the Raiders in a Central Piedmont 4A test on Tuesday, September 10. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 14-3. Reagan won 3-0 in their recent league test against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)

The Vikings now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host T.W. Andrews for a Mid-State 2A test on Tuesday, September 10. North Forsyth will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-8.
