In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Rockbridge County Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues.

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers come into the Valley challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Broadway beat Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Blues meet the Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Parry McCluer will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Celtics come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA).
