The Sylvan Hills Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Pulaski Academy Bruins to 1 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bears now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mount St. Mary Academy for a 5A Central outing on Tuesday, September 10. Sylvan Hills will play a Belles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Belles record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Pulaski Academy drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Central Arkansas Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Valley View (Jonesboro, AR)
