In Monday's league challenge, the host Wilmington Friends Quakers volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the St. Andrew's Cardinals.
The Quakers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Georges Tech beat Indian River (Dagsboro, DE), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Wilmington Christian Warriors (Hockessin, DE) in a Non-Conference challenge, on Thursday, September 12. St. Andrew's will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE).
