In Tuesday's non-league match, the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) volleyball squad tipped the host Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Skyhawks confront the Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 11. L.C. Bird will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Chiefs come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA).
With the loss, Manchester drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host Hermitage (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 1. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
