In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Coronado Cougars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Foothill Falcons.
The Cougars (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Gaels enter the challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Gorman got by Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Durango Trailblazers (Las Vegas, NV) in a challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trailblazers go into the test with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Liberty (Henderson, NV).
