Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) and the host Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), observed University Prep's volleyball team top Gridley by a tally of 2-0.

The Panthers (11-0) will now prepare for their contest against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Foothill beat West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Orland Trojans (Orland, CA) in a test, on Tuesday, September 30. Gridley will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
