California High School Flag Football - Scripps Ranch nudges Point Loma

The crowd at Tuesday's league contest between the Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), witnessed Scripps Ranch's flag football squad edge Point Loma by a tally of 19-18.

With the win, Scripps Ranch advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Nighthawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Del Norte lost 31-21 in their recent non-league bout against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)

The Pointers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Bonita Vista for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. Point Loma will encounter a Barons team coming off a 48-0 league win over Olympian (Chula Vista, CA). The Barons record now stands at 7-0.
