In their next game, the Wildcats face the St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Whitney will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Troubadours go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 49-8 league win over Davis Sr. (Davis, CA).

The Thunder (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Trojans go into the challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Oak Ridge toppled Woodcreek (Roseville, CA), 6-0, in a non-league challenge.
