Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ), 6-0 in a league outing.

The Mountaineers (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Voorhees got by Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Terriers play the Gill St. Bernard's Knights (Gladstone, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan game, on Thursday, September 11. Delaware Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Somerville (Somerville, NJ).
