With the win, Midland Valley improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Gilbert (Gilbert, SC) to face the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. The Indians go into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles go into the game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Gray Collegiate Academy went down by Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
