In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Alcorn Central Bears volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Kossuth Aggies.
With the win, Alcorn Central advances its record to 9-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Booneville (Booneville, MS) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Aggies play the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Kossuth will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus, MS).
