The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, George Wythe was beaten by Galax (Galax, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 10. Giles will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Galax (Galax, VA).
