The Boyd County Lions topped the visiting Russell Red Devils volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. Boyd County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.

With the loss, Russell drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Red devils host Blazer (Ashland, KY) to play the Tomcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Tomcats come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Blazer won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Fairview (Ashland, KY)
