Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), observed Cox Mill's volleyball team top West Cabarrus by a count of 2-0.

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, A.L. Brown was defeated by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Wolverines now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. West Cabarrus will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.
