East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Paradise Bobcats (Paradise, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Spartans (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Paradise will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Winters (Winters, CA).
