In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host South Effingham Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Effingham County Rebels.

The Mustangs (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Jenkins was tipped by St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels meet the Evans Knights (Evans, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Effingham County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA).
