In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Emerald Vikings volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Strom Thurmond Rebels.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Hurricanes come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.
