Washington High School Volleyball - Ferris held off by Mead

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) and the host Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), observed Mead's volleyball team hold off Ferris by a tally of 2-1.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Post Falls (Post Falls, ID). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Post Falls tipped Wallace (Wallace, ID), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Saxons now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis & Clark for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Ferris will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
