The Granada Matadors volleyball team (Livermore, CA), was beaten 2-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA)

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Castro Valley was beaten by Heritage (Brentwood, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Matadors face the Carondelet Cougars (Concord, CA) in a test, on Thursday, September 11. Granada will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Monte Vista (Danville, CA).
