With the win, Franklin County improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS) to meet the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Blue Waves meet the Callaway Chargers (Jackson, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Port Gibson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
